At Conor Mc Gloughlin catering we love seafood. Having seen my parents cooking and harvesting local seafood from an early age I have always had a love and passion for these great local products.
As a caterer it is one of the most exciting product categories to work with. Seasonality is a key word for the caterer when dealing with seafood. When local products are in season they represent exceptional value and can be incorporated on any catering menu without adding excessive cost.
During the spring and summer months we have a plentiful supply of Lobster, Crab, Prawns, Mussels, Oysters, Shrimp and Salmon. We have developed some stunning centre piece displays incorporating whole dressed salmon and an array of local shellfish.
When catering for outdoor events such as BBQ's we use a selection of fresh fish and shellfish to provide a fresh and healthy option. We have recently launched a new product for garden parties and outdoor catering events "The Paella Pan".
The Paella Pan is the caterer's solution for the seafood lovers’ outdoor function. We have a giant paella pan loaded with delicious traditional paella with a selection of local seafood and shellfish creating a bit of theatre in front of your guests with fantastic smells wafting through the air. Its great and available for small medium and large functions.
